Birch Program

The Birch Program services students grades kindergarten through twelve (K-12). Students attending the Birch Program have been identified as having emotional, social and learning disabilities.  With a four to one (4:1) student to staff ratio, students have individualized learning opportunities in a highly structured, emotionally supportive, challenging learning environment.

The program provides the consistency and predictability required for students to reshape behavior, engage learning and develop self-confidence.  Individual, family and group psychotherapy, a comprehensive behavior modification program and a rigorous academic program are provided to work toward enabling students to reach their highest emotional and academic ability.  Often, the goal of the Birch Program is to work toward reintegrating students into their sending school districts.
